I must've been unlucky

I had a very poor experience with this probe on my Switchwire. First setup, it works, but the repeatability was terrible. I was able to get a bed mesh in klipper, but it had to repeat for every other point because of out of range values. The result? My mesh was never good enough to make every point of my print surface consistent, leading me to waste my time constantly changing the z-offset to no avail. I should've returned it now, but it gets worse. One day, the probe got stuck in the triggered state. I can't use my printer anymore. I end up cutting off the vast majority of the wiring and rewiring the entire probe with some better wire. This ends up fixing it for a little bit. Fast forward a month, I haven't used my printer for a while, and I turn it on to print something. Same problem again. I think I'll give up and just call this defective. In the end, the probe only lasted a few months with only a few days of print time. In contrast, my generic 3D-Touch that I got many years ago still works to this day.

Good shit main

Built a Voron 2.4r4 with some amazon kits for 2.4r2 and 2.4 and luckily West3d had the stuff i needed to improvise enough to get it to work. I wish some of the kits and harnesses would specify which revision they were for but other than that the site kicks ass. Checkout is easier than other sites. Also the sticker and the sucker they include in every package, even if it's only a 5 dollar order. LOVE THE SUCKER!!!!!


Compatible with Voron printers (V1, V2), and others to support bed leveling. This is "B" stock Omron Probe which saves you a considerable money over retail but works just as well. 


This probe is the sourcing guide listed product. It is a better alternative to the PL-08N if you are doing the MGN12 Mod, it is also less likely to melt.
