It's been a while since we posted an update, but lots has happened!
West3D moves to a new location:
It's no secret we continue to expand our operations, sales are growing and we are bringing in new products almost weekly. This growth has continued to strain our spaces, and in May 18th 2024 we moved to our newest location and we've doubled our footprint! This marks the fourth location in 2.5 years! We are still in the same business park, but now street side. This means... New retail store launching in August 2024! That's right, we will have one of the only dedicated 3D printing retail stores in the world. In this small format retail store, customers will be able to come in, browse and hold merchandise - and make their purchases in person.
We couldn't have done this without the existing support of our online store, thank you!
With expansion comes more people and more hours!
Our workforce has grown to 8, with Kenji and Bryce coming on board this past week, and Jeremy joining our team a couple months back. The added staff will help bring service levels to our optimal levels (orders fulfilled in 1-2 business days) and even allow us to ship some products on weekends! We are also going to be open on weekends for retail purchases! This will let us provide a new service to the community, offering 3D printer related products for same day purchase/pickup any day of the week.
West3D is now a SOVOL partner
As we grow our presence we have understood that not everyone is looking for a DIY printer option, now is willing or able to purchase a Voron, or similar printer kit. Because of this we have partnered with SOVOL/Comgrow to offer 3D printing solutions for a broader market. Our primary focus is not changing, and we will still be your source for Voron and printer parts, but the addition of printers like the SV06, SV08 etc. will offer products that appeal to local customers. Unlike some of the other sellers who carry these products, we are also bringing in replacement parts and accessories so we can actively support the products we sell.
