Beschreibung

Meet Carbonara, an ultra light carbon fiber X beam that actually works. Save grams with a 58.8% weight reduction and increase acceleration and speeds without increasing artifacts and rigidity. These are specifically designed for Voron and Monolith gantry printers, and replace your 2020 x extrusion.
This product was thoughtfully designed, taking over a year and a half of development to perfect. Multiple layers of woven carbon fiber with a cosmetic top layer. It's thicker than most tubes on the market and has rounded corners to increase strength.
The Carbonara beam features 130C resin, and it has been tested at high temperature. This is perhaps the best 3D printer x beam on the market, built incredibly tough, light and has minimal dimension variation on heatsoak.
For additional details see the Printables Repository.
Note - this listing is for the carbon fiber x beam, the linear rail shown in the product image is for display purposes only and not part of the shipped product.
Key features:
- High torsion resistance
- Made with high-temperature resin. 110°C short-term temperature resistance, good for 90°C chamber.
- Ultra light, up to 58% weight reduction from a standard 2020 aluminium extrusion (before hardware and inserts).
- Smooth 3K carbon strand finish
- Pre-drilled, easy installation
- Unmatched price/performance
Tested for 800 hours at VERY high speeds, 500-1300mm/s @ 50.000-100.000m/s² with 80ºc chamber.

IMPORTANT!
The printed inserts are a MUST to ensure maximum performance.
Please make sure they are all aligned and facing the same direction.
The inserts must be a snug fit, not loose.
Hollow spacers aren't mandatory, they are only used to facilitate installation.
Inserts must be printed in CF/GF filament with HDT ≥ 110°C, such as, PET-CF, PCPBTGF.

The indented part of the printed inserts is meant to face the linear rail.
