This is such a huge improvement over the V6 hotend, and a g reat price for what you get.
The ability to swap nozzles in just a few seconds on a per-print job basis is amazing. I no longer have to weigh the pros and cons of a print's features vs the time and effort to switch a V6 nozzle.
Using the sheet presets for offset, I don't even have to readjust Z between nozzle changes... just change the sheet preset for each nozzle diameter.
Amazing! I would recommend for anyone who wants to breathe new life into a i3 mk3 series or any other similar vintage v6 style printer.
The REVO hotend is amazing, and by far the best upgrade I have made to my i3 MK3 Prusa.
That said, the brass nozzles are a weird value proposition for me, considering you can get an obXidian nozzle nozzle for "only" twice as much (and extra 25 dollars), but then never have to buy another nozzle for the foreseeable future of the printer.
Even if you don't print any abrasives, the DLC coating on the obXidians is nice to have, and things like white filament can wear out a brass nozzles even if it is a standard, non-composite plastic.
I will use these until they wear out, but plan to replace them with obxidians or PCD nozzles as they do
That said, these are extremely easy to swap, and produce great prints.
I'm sure the fan is fine (haven't installed it yet), but the cable length is 20cm rather than 100cm listed.

While the print quality and color look great initially, the spooling quality is extremely disappointing. About halfway down the roll, I started getting constant tangle warnings and feeds binding up due to overlapping windings.
Having to constantly babysit a print or manually respool a roll just to avoid ruined projects isn't acceptable for a premium filament. I shouldn't have to fight a spool to get a reliable print.
I have bought ambrosia from West 3d in the past and did experience this one other time but the spool was almost empty, about 100g.left and I thought it was just me.. 2 tangled out of 4 purchased! Not good odds... Not going to buy anymore
Pros:
Print Quality: Prints cleanly and looks great when it feeds smoothly.
Color / Finish: Excellent dual-tone aesthetic.
Cons:
Severe Winding/Tangle Issues: About a quarter of the way through the spool, the filament began binding and triggering constant tangle warnings.
Wasted Time & Effort: Requires complete respooling to save the remaining three quarters of the roll, ruining long prints and disrupting active projects.

I have tried numerous cheaper probes... Beacon is the best probe that I have found. This is my second one
These don't have the smooth face as pictured, like the original Prusa ones do. They have a lip around the nozzle forcing you to remove the sock to change nozzles (like every other non-prusa replacement that costs half what these do). They're not as flexible as the originals either and are sort of between silicone and plastic.
Added this 12mm rail along with the 9mm Brunl rails and upgraded A/B full shear motors to a voron 2.4 350 with all metal gantry and used urea high temp lubricant. Preload greatly improves quality of prints and movement is much quieter. Suspect preload also helps dampen resonance that was no longer being absorbed due to all metal gantry. Original of these 12mm rails was a bit gravely from the manufacturer. West 3d quickly replaced the rail. Always appreciate that level of customer support. Rails do not (intentionally) slide as freely as rails from original build kit, but this is by design. In practice, under load, they work very well. Everything is much more stable, including z-travel, z-offsets, gantry stability and consistency of QGL. I could not be more pleased with those results and the cleaner prints. If (or when) I do another build, I will likely self source and jump directly to using these rails again. They have been well worth the additional expense and should have a longer lifespan than the original rails.

Better hope you don't make a mistake printing with these, or the option is full replacement. I've been printing with it a little over a week. Loved it. I had the original nozzle and a high flow 0.8 I bought as well. They were working great until... ...while printing with the 0.8, the PETG didn't adhere to the plate, and started bunching, well that got in the hotend and it completely destroyed it. The 0.8 could not be removed. Tried heating, tried everything I could, until plyers were the last resort. I was able to break the nozzle free from the hotend while it was completely removed from the head unit, but in doing so, broke the thermostat and am now back to ordering another $100 unit. What makes it even more frustrating was that I was so excited about this I bought a diamond high speed nozzle because that finally came in today and was so excited to use it until this happened. I understand the clumping was not the hotend's fault, but I didn't expect it to be this fragile.
I ordered 40 meters of this tubing. It does a great job and is quite durable. I will return for more!
