Milestone-Based Build: One MOAB – Three Working Stages
Print in batches and start assembling asap. By reusing and expanding your build, the MOAB grows step by step into the final electric version. Each milestone on the way is fully playable, progressing from the cylindrical cam to the planetary gearset and making assembly and testing as thrilling as unleashing the MOAB’s full power!
Print the first parts, load a 20-dart clip, and crank the handle to experience the functional spinning mechanics.
Add more prints, explore the endlessly extendable delinking belt, and crank for limitless hand-powered fun.
Complete the set and unleash the motorized beast, firing 50 foam darts per second (3000 darts per minute!) with the backpack.

We’ve refined the original high-performance design around three core principles:

- Smooth Assembly – Clever fit engineering turns the build into a hands-on journey that reveals and teaches the complex inner mechanics of the MOAB.
- Cost Efficiency – High-cost parts are now fully printable, and all motors, screws, and electronics come in one kit — less sourcing, lower shipping, more time to build.
What’s Included?
Optimized STL files designed for seamless FDM printing: The parts are clearly labeled, optimal orientated and pre-keyed for easy, error-free assembly.
Step-by-step instructions, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable assembly experience.
Skip soldering and wiring! Our ready-to-go kit includes plug & play electronics, all hardware and even all necessary tools required to build the blaster – so you can focus on building instead of sourcing parts.
The hardware kit includes:
- Custom MOAB PCB v2.1 (incl. ESP32 with WIFI and bluetooth)
- Brushless motor
- Custom fast-start ESC (40A) optimized for the MOAB
- OLED display (128×64) and 5D navigation button for the user interface
- Switches (main power, mode, and trigger microswitch)
- Rotary encoder module to control the desired fire rate
- Bearings and steel shafts
- High-strength springs, O-rings, and dampers
- Screws, nuts and threaded inserts
- Neodymium magnets for the barrel extensions
- Adjustable backpack straps
- Required tools & consumables (hex bits, adhesive, lubricant, sandpaper, zip ties, etc.)

Every kit also includes some spare parts, so you can keep your MOAB running smoothly.
You’ll need to purchase a standard 3S 11.1 V Li-Po pack battery (details in the build guide). This keeps shipping simple and lets you reuse your batteries and charger or choose the brand or capacity you prefer.
