I have an A1 and I print mainly PLA and PETG this plate is great. I had some issues with large flat prints lifting even with a brim this has solved that and the surface textures is pleasant. Would recommend it.
Great pushing force, and can still hit high acceleration and controlled pressure advance
Hard to find closed loop 9mm belts at a reasonable price. These work great, just wish they had 10mm belts too.
Works great, they have aluminum spacers. Which would actually make it high temp resistant, unlike the omc or 2nd gen kraken motors that have plastic spacers that melt and cause issues.
Purchased this to replace an LDO Voron kit plate that got a hole ripped out of the surface. PEI side works well with ABS, although it's not quite as sticky as the old LDO plate. I have not had much luck getting the PEO side to work with PLA.
Plate looked wonderful after unboxed, but that turned out to be short lived. I was tuning Flow Ratio on Fiberon PA612-CF with the YOLO coarse pattern in OrcaSlicer as the very first (and only) print on this rather spendy plate. As soon as it cooled off (~1 hr +/-) I realized that there was going to be an issue. None of the tabs would release. At all. No amount of flexing, picking, or cussing would get my test tabs to release. I finally had to resort to force. I broke out the Panda Printer bed scraper. As I worked my way around the edges, I started to realize that I was experiencing a rather serious case of buyer's remorse. The further I got in removing the test tabs the more horrifying the evidence of permanent damage became. EVERY SINGLE SPOT where there was a tab, the Garolite was lifted off of the flex plate. Each tab took some of the plate surface off of the Garolite, exposing the fiberglass core underneath.
So the plate is ruined,
I do not have these kind of issues on my Etsy sourced G10 plate.
Polymaker Fiberon PA612-CF @ 300c
Bed temp-100c
Camber 60c
Printing YOLO Pass1 Coarse Flow Ratio Test from OrcaSlicer Calibration tab.
Cooled to room temp before removal (attempted removal, anyway)
I've contacted West3D about this issue and will update review regarding resolution.
Sadly, at this time, I can NOT recommend this product for my use case, engineering type technical filaments.
Purchased this to replace my moons dead stepper. Same performance as moons IMO. Does run a bit warmer so you will likely have to adjust to adjust your run current
Bought some 24v 5015’s for my ender 3 pro to improve print quality. Originally bought cheap amazon 5015’s, but they vibrated like crazy resulting in artifacts in my print walls. So got these Sunon ones. Parts got shipped within a day, had them in hand in 4-5 days. Got a thank you note and a little candy with them too. Fans working great, quiet & super strong. Glad I didn’t have to bother with getting them shipped from China, and at a fair price. Would recommend.
This is my first time using 1.5 belts but they are increadibly smooth. As for any gates product they are also durable.
Arrived promptly and well packed. Operates so well, it's easy to forget I have them.
Was using this hot end for a month or so. During one long print the nozzle began to leak and encased the the entire melt region in plastic and bent then retaining clip for the heater cartridge. This could have been resolved easily if replacement parts for this were available (not West 3Ds fault) you can't find these anywhere. I would buy this again if replacement parts were more available, but I am looking into different replacement options.
The kit went together fine I hade a few missing m3x8 but I had some on hand the organization of the kit could be better and you are going to want some DuPont Connectors on hand but overall a good kit
Great alternative to the Omron G3NA-210B, and honestly this is the preferred unit unless you're managing to attach a heatsink. In that case, Omron has a lot more choices.
IF YOU ARE RUNNING 120V AND YOUR BED HEATER IS OVER 350W, YOU REALLY SHOULD PICK THIS. Derating allows for 3A up to 40C air cooled with no heatsink, so anything beyond that you'll start having a bad time.
This is a huge step-up from the stock PEI plate. I have had very smooth and clean 1st layers with this plate.
Enclosure was a great kit. As someone else said, the base at the bottom for the drag chain broke for me as well. I had to download and print another one. Small bit as well, but one of the **** grommets on the glass door was also missing. Resolution pending. I would recommend this kit, just be aware of a possible hiccup or two, but not from West3D.
Used these on my Prusawire build and they worked great also I love the color. Super smooth on the X and Z axis would definitely purchase again.
Used this on my Prusawire build and it worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend greasing it before use, there are plenty of tutorials online for how to do this
Excellent ASA for the price and quality! If there line stays at this cost, I will be switching filament suppliers to Ambrosa.
I've never had a pulley fit on a shaft so perfectly like these they fit real snug so there will be no wobble I am happy with these
Five stars if you're looking for an input shaper that runs off of the pi gpio I thought this was going to be a simple plug directly into the tool head and leave it so I'm going to hold on this for another project and find something more compatible to my set up.
