Works very well

So much easier to use this than using apps and plucking the belts looking for a certain frequency. The results from this tool are consistent and repeatable. Highly recommended.

Super simple, super quick, super repeatable!

I needed a way to test belt tension on my Prusa Core One and the frequency reading app wasn't working well on my phone. I found this through some searches and decided to get the pre-built version. It arrived quickly and it's been my go-to tool for tensioning the belts. When I first got it, I used the provided calibration wire to tune the meter to 1.9 and it's been very repeatable. I always use the calibration wire before testing belts and the meter hasn't drifted a bit. Very simple to use and I can highly recommend it.

Must-Have Tool

Stop thinking and buy it. The tuning apps were always finicky, and this tool takes out the guess work. Never worry about loose belts again!

Note: This is a special West3D edition of the belt tension meter, designed for us by Community Partner PF Makes which makes stylistic changes to match our brand.

This is a GT2 belt tension meter to assist in properly tensioning belts on your 3D printer. Works on any accessible GT2 6-9mm timing belt. Eliminates the need for fidgety phone apps when setting belt tension. Printed from ABS plastic each meter comes fully assembled and calibrated. Includes the belt tension meter as well as calibration wire should the meter ever need calibration. Printed in Ambrosia Black and West Green ASA.

Tested on the following printers: Voron Trident, 2.4, V.0, Salad Fork, and Switchwire. Note: for others non listed printers please ensure you have clear access to at least 150mm of belt. This meter will not work on printers with belts that run inside of the extrusion channels.
