Good kit but door panel seals too thin and panel rattles.

I like these LDO door kits and they work well, but the door panel sealing strips are too thin for the 3mm thick panels. The strips remain loose, the panel vibrates, and the strips fall out. I have these on all three Voron printers and I still recommend the kit, but LDO could do a much better job sourcing the panel seals.

A must have for all Vorons

This should be part of the Voron 0.2 builds kits! It provides a significant noise reduction, and the ability to remove the doors (for printing PLA/PETG or working inside the build area). Also, the door makes the print viewing from the front much nicer. The color match of the blue anodizing closely matches my currently LDO 1515 extrusions (not perfect but that is to be expected with aluminum anodizing).

I'm giving this 4/5 stars because no instructions are provided in the github and the video off this page is not really usable for building it. It's not really difficult, but having to figure it out as I did it slowed me down. Also, no nuts were included in my kit. I had some available from my original LDO kit, but that would be needed to purchase if you don't have them already.

I would buy again.

Description

Mini-Fridge Door Kit designed by TheVoronModder and inspired by Whoppingpochard's Clicky-Clack doors for V2 and Trident. This is a great one piece door makes for smooth and satisfying opening and closing (and clicking!) with nice sound.

This kit comes with a premium Cast Acrylic front panel and all the extrusions and hardware required (no printed parts). Please note, this requires the 100mm extrusions standard on an LDO V0.2 Kit.

Please note - because extrusions were anodized in a different batch than your LDO printer kit there might be a slight variation between color. This is true for all LDO Mini-Fridge Door Kits sold.
