I have been using this iron though not bought from west 3d for over 2 years and it now lives in my stealth press zero. I can’t tell you how many times I have forgotten to unplug the thing and still it keeps chugging along. It’s not fancy but temp dial is accurate enough for heat sets and general purpose soldering.

The CF purple printed very cleanly using essentially the same settings as the standard Ambrosia ASA. Obviously, the CF does a nice job hiding layer lines. For me a big deal is the darker purple color, which is not as harsh or reddish like the Grape. It's much more muted but still definitely a deep purple. Would love to see this as a color in a non CF version as well. Have been printing functional parts with it, and looking forward to printing some more. I liked it so much I bought a second roll!
This extruder has proved to be the best of the many I have used with options to fit stealthburner as well as stand alone options in the g2se config with multiple mounting hole options to match up with sherpa and orbiter patterns. then there is the wristwatch g2 with options for filament sensors above and below making it usable on filament changers.
Have had no issues keeping up with flow rates up to 50 mm^3
Just as conductive as brass, didn't even need to adjust the temperature settings when I switched nozzles. So far I am half a roll of cf-nylon through it and there is no wear.
They are very quiet and move a lot of air. Definitely worth the extra money of cheaper ball bearing fans
West3D is the best, until East3D opens. LDO makes great parts, and I'm sure this will be no different.
Great little kit for the tool setter. Includes all the hardware i needed to put it together. Pair it with the PCB and some printed parts and you're all set.
Very well machined aluminum plate for the Full Metal Jacket Milo Mod. Arguably makes the single biggest improvement to the machine. Increases Z, increases rigidity (better surface finish, deeper cuts, etc), and just looks snazzy as can be. Well worth the price.
I have purchased two rolls of the Galactic Midnight Meteorite to print the accent parts for my new VZ/Mercury/Trident build. It prints amazingly, is strong, and just looks so so so good. Its no more expensive than what you can get on Amazon, its prints better, and it supports a small awesome business. Its a total win all around

Having a 3d printer with a heater chamber is really good for printing ABS/ASA and engineering filaments, which really need or benefit from a heated chamber.
West3D waiting to stock this until Qidi fixed the SSR issue and some other issues on the initial printer release. I bought my printer elsewhere before West3d was carrying and I've had to replace my SSR and also my chamber heater. Now that I've replaced parts, this printer is so great. Buy the printer from West3D so that you get that great printer without going through the headaches that I've had! :)
Bought to print out ABS and quality is already showing vs the stock hot end even printing PLA.
West 3D processed the order quickly.
Very useful to have for when you wnat to add something to your 1515 extrusion build or forget to preload a nut somewhere. They're somewhat thin, so definitely use the printed support piece from https://github.com/MotorDynamicsLab/LDOVoron0/tree/main/STLs otherwise the screws may not reach and grab on to the nuts.
Complete Hardware Kit is great to build a full VLMP 2 Heat Set Insert Press. Everything went together well, just make sure your printed parts are flat (especially the base pieces). Great tool to have if you (somewhat) frequently insert set heats into parts, as it's always ready to go. I'm using it with a TS-101 soldering iron and CNC Kitchen tips.
smells like abs, prints better and stronger. which is exact what I need for rc bodies
finishing the tunning on an Ender 3S1 Pro with some modifications. So far so good. Temp settings back inline with brass as opposed to hardened steel.

I've been using this Phaetus aeWorthy ASA-GF for a while now and it's an absolutely amazing filament. If you need a strong rigid material I definitely recommend this! It does give off some VOC's I wouldn't recommend printing this without a hepa filter at a minimum but you should have proper ventilation. As for West3D these guys were the only place online at the time I could still find this stuff and they had it for a great price and shipped super fast even during the holidays. Got a nice thank you note and a caramel apple lollypop haha these guys rock!
