Recently purchased this to replace my SV08’s factory heated bed plate, due to some taco issues. Installation was relatively straightforward, and it is just a beautiful piece of hardware. Can’t wait to get printing on it. It was very securely packaged by the folks at West 3D, and arrived earlier than expected.
When I was buying filament, I saw the hot sauce and couldn't resist. I have a LARGE collection of hot sauce and green sauces for all the good food. To be honest, this tangy delicious green chile sauce with the garlic flavor added the PERFECT pop to my burrito. I would highly recommend this fantastic stuff to anyone who is addicted to saucing their stuff. I'm a superfan!
Had to swap my entire bed and build plate on my sv08, and needed a new magnetic sheet. This magnet sheet is strong, and the adhesive to hold it in place doubly so.
Wow, I've only had this thing in my hands for about an hour and let me say. The printable tensioner I've been using are all sorts of off. It's awesome to have every belt tension throughout my 2.4 spot on!
Dude! The print quality on this thing is AMAZING. It's truly incredible how well tuned the machine that made these is.
Love this filament and this whole brand. As advertised on the spool, it prints smooth as butter. Not only does it print smooth, the end result is absolutely beautiful too.
As always, LDO have the best Voron kits on the market this is my turkey that I am building and it’s always perfect on the cut and angles
The Titaniun PLA simlar to the flashforge burnt titanium but better and easier to print and cheaper.
Works great. Choose it over the TAP for my Voron as i didn't like the nozzle hitting the bed for every probe, bed mesh and homing. I use a steel / PEI sheet and have no magnets in the bed so all good. Installed in og SB probe location with an adapter. Love it so far. One problem was USB cable. If you 350 voron you need the 10 foot usb cable.
This is a great kit! I am so happy to finally have a belt tensioning tool that works reliably and simply. This gets the job done very well when paired with the 3D printable parts.
I have been impressed with West 3D. They are very customer oriented and carry quality products. The construction and packaging of this nozzle is impressive. I am using it with the Phaetus Dragon and I am happy with the results it is producing.
I ordered a completed printed parts set for a Voron 2.4 R2 as well as an extra roll of Ambrosia filament to print any other custom parts that I might need. I printed it on my Artillery Sidewinder X1 and was able to get fairly decent print results. Because I don't really have an enclosed chamber I ran into some quality issues. I will probably re-print them once my Voron is up and functional. West3D was excellent to deal with and I'd highly recommend them for all your 3D printing needs. Shipping was also quite fast.
I'm building a Voron 2.4 R2 and ordered all of the printed parts from West3D. The quality was second to none. Exceptional finish and fit. I also ordered the color filament from them which I'll comment in another review. Shipping was quite fast. I got the parts in plenty of time during the build. Would highly recommend Wesr3D for all your 3D printing needs.
This plate literally worked right out of the box!
Most PEI plates require you wash them with dish soap and water as well as gently scrub with a brillo pad to create a rough surface for adhesion, but I thought I'd try it out without any sort of surface prep. So far, all ABS parts printed on it stuck perfectly with no lifting! Highly recommend!
This was hands down one of the best kits I've ever bought. Everything was well organized and clearly labeled. The cable lengths were perfect, and each one was marked and easily identifiable, which made the wiring much smoother.
Assembly was a breeze thanks to the exceptionally well-written instructions available on the Boxturtle site. From unboxing to first print, it took me about 4–5 hours (excluding the Filametrix setup).
The only issue I encountered was with the 30T nylon gears included in the kit—they were too loose and slipped frequently. I resolved this by using ones I already printed in ABS, which solved my slipping issue.
Tip for future builders:
If the 30T nylon gears don’t fit snugly on the shaft and you decide to print replacements, make sure to also print the 15T gears. I initially had issues with slipping/grinding when I used printed 30T gears alongside the kit’s nylon 15T ones.
Kit parts really good. Went together well. Fun build project. TD values seem to be accurate. Only criticism I have is that it does struggle with grey filament. It thinks it’s dark green. Color filament seems to be spot on. Overall will be a very useful tool for hue forging.
Excellent value for how much you get (5 cc). Not necessarily a required part of one's build but I enjoy easy upgrades.
I have a SF Dragon and it fits perfectly. Matches my hotend better than the orange sock it came with
Package arrived quickly and in greasy shape, and what was inside the box might actually be useful to me. Not sure yet though. 10/10 would recommend, because it’s random, and not predictable, meaning it has the chance to blow you away or, maybe give you something to barter with. Who knows?
After owning and returning the rapido 1 uhf. I decided I'd try the fiber to see if they upgraded components help. So far so good! This thing has been rock solid! Love this hotend! Works great with my sb on my 2.4!
