At this point, the only reason to use anything but a PT1000 anywhere is when you need to fit a glass bead into odd places. The price on these is exceptionally reasonable, the leads are high quality, and the PT1000s appear to match perfectly with no fiddling (I've swapped between three different ones, and they all have the same reading).
These pulleys are NOT Gates GT2 profile. They will work, but I would not recommend them long term. You get what you pay for.
Bought the 116×116 for my V0 build, it needs to mount wires to the front, which makes cable routing a bit tricky, and the thermal fuse had to be screwed on so it was on top of the heater and not directly on the bed as desired.
Those are the only issues (and why it's 4 intead of 5 stars). Other than that, an excellent heater. This is the first time I've used one with adhesive, so we'll see how that goes a few years down the road.
I installed these on my V2 two years ago, and still zero issues with them. Minimal initial stretch, and I suspect the times I've had to re-tension are due to plastic parts, not the belts. For reference, the standard belts I had to replace every six months.
If you have a Rapido, this is what you should use with it. I dink the Rapido for the design issues, not this item. I went through three in a year before I gave up on the Rapido... though I hear good things about the V2.
Overall, this is a neat way to get a CAN toolhead, but once you start pushing 80°C chamber temps, they start dying.
Also, be very careful with the SMD components on the back that are very close to the mount holes... I've managed to kill a board by clamping down on that.
This is the best nozzle available for the DropEffect XG. Top quality, zero problems. Well worth the price over the brass for conductivity alone.
Printed sparkle filament for about three months without wearing it out.
A very nice standard flow hotend. Unfortunately, it uses non-standard parts... nozzle, heater, and thermistor are all unique and hard to find replacements for.
Heats quickly and works well, but one star off for special components and one off for standard flow and it may not be worth the price.
I have both the Glacier and the Frostbite. They work great and have been more consistent than the supertac by far. Much less sensitive to oils from your hand. Have had 0 lack of adhesion issues.
Decent shelf that can store a good amount of filament. Don’t expect something extremely heavy duty at this price point, but definitely does what it needs to.
This stuff just prints so easy (V0.2R1 and Creality K1C). I'm setting up to print Ambrosia almost exclusively at this point, as I haven't had a bit of trouble with it, even on large prints. Would love to see refills on an open spool platform, but it's not going to keep me from getting more!
Took about 2 hours to assemble 4 of these and get them installed. Much simpler than stock 2.4 design. I built the planetary stack and got the motor gear installed before putting everything into the housing. Seemed much easier to clamp everything with one hand and turn the pulley to test fitment that way, then shove everything in. It really does have a huge amount of resistance!
My first delta and Rolohaun Design printer build and I'm a huge fan already. Very enjoyable and easy to follow along build, for a versatile and great printer already cranking out well tuned parts for me. I'm very happy with the kit and all the supplies. Another great kit from LDO.
It still surprises me how small Meanwell managed to shrink a 350W supply down to. If you want 48V with extra power headroom, this is the one to get.
The supply is impressively small for the power output, would highly recommend.
I bought these for use in a high temp Monolith gantry build. They seem like they will hold up really well and the green accent is nice looking.
I've been running this in my Trident for a little while now and have thrown a random mix of things at it, including PC-CF, PLA-CF, and PLA-Glow in the dark and it's handled all of them very well. I suspect this is a nozzle I'll be using for a very long time
Bought for my plus 4 to replace factory bed level sensor now get perfect first layers everytime easy set up
This fan is awesome! Very good airflow for my dragon burner. I was previously running a gdstime fan. The berserker out flows that and it seems like a better quality product all over. The only negative I have to say about it is that it is pretty loud.
