Perfect for Voron build

0 complaints, nice thick heater, sticks perfect, built in backup thermal protection, exactly shaped for voron layout. Only at 70% and my bed is ready in 10 mins, chamber in 20. At this size, I think it was worth the little bit extra for the better heater.

I was super impressed with the Universal 120V Silicone Heater!

Installation was a breeze—it went on easily and without any issues. Once powered on, it heats up quickly and performs like a true 800W heater. I've added thermal switch protection (like you all should do), ensuring safety and peace of mind during use. VERY happy with its performance and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for their next bed heater.

I got the 120mm one. So much better than the 60w DC bed I had. I had to up the bed fans from 3010 blowers to 4010 axials.

Description

Our Performance for All 180 Series heater is exclusively designed by West3D to fit edge to edge on Voron style build plates (but will fit any printer that has the appropriate size build plate). Looking for a heater for your 180mm Printers for Ants? Here you go!

These heaters are no slouch and heat quickly due to their higher than average wattage, and will stay adhered without too much smell due to the Lohmann adhesive rated for long term use at high temperature. Lastly, unlike other heaters in the industry, our heaters come with backup thermal protection through the use of a self-resetting switch (CF79F-150A rated for 150C). Please note, the switch is meant as a backup to a lower rated fuse, please do not assume this will provide 100% protection, and never operate the printer when you're not able to monitor and shut off in the event of a thermal anomaly.

The heater uses a NTC 100K Thermistor, and features both the heater and thermistor elevated from the bottom of the silicon pad to allow for traversing any obstacles that may present themselves. The heater and thermistor wire are long enough for almost any build. Set your printer config in Klipper to Generic 3950 thermistor type.

Please note - these are sized within 1 mm of the standard build plate size please make sure your surface is larger than the heater or size down. For Voron sizes, build plates are typically 5mm larger than the stated size and these are designed to work perfectly for standard aluminum build plates.

Our heaters come from a factory that maintains various certifications, including CE. These are not labeled on the heaters themselves as we intend these to be purchased only within the United States (due to voltage requirements).

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Heaters may get super hot. Please handle with care.
  • Before purchase, please kindly check if the hole pattern fits your build plate.
  • Red wires are the Thermistor sensor extenstion wires, white wires are for voltage supply to the heating element.
  • A supporting frame/layer is strongly suggested to have the heating element "sandwiched" tightly for better heating result. Please kindly check this post about a Perfect Installation.
