Superior in all ways to the stock door system.

For all of us who don't live in warm climates and/or don't keep our printers in a climate-controlled area, this is a must-have upgrade if you plan on printing ABS/ASA or other materials that require high chamber temps. I store my printers in a shed, so I would have to find creative ways of keeping them in the chamber heat during the Wisconsin winters. This upgrade has removed the headache of printing ABS/ASA during the winter months, so now I can print printer parts year-round. It is worth every penny and, as always, excellent service by the wonderful folks at West3D.

Top quality as always from LDO and west3d

got the orange one for the 350 to cut down for use on my orange trident as orange wasn't an option for the trident. packaged perfect and looks amazing. color was a little off but my orange frame was from the trident beta kits so I knew it would be. Thanks Dan for the heads up on the fact that the orange was a thing for the 2.4 350 size.

I've never known anything else...and I'm happy for that.

When building my 2.4 I opted for this upgrade from the start. Looking at the BOM for the original it didn't make sense to NOT have a single panel in the front if I could avoid it. The kit is well documented and all the parts were machined well. I've had this thing on and off multiple times and every time I need to do anything with it, it is amazing how something so simple can make life so much easier.

I will echo others here, when putting it together make sure of the pin orientation, put the rounded sides UP when assembling. I made the mistake of not doing so and putting the door back on after removal was difficult. I eneded up pulling and putting them in the right way and since then I haven't had any issues.

One thing I did have to do was adjust my annex panel clips for the hinges and handle but it's well worth it.

Clicky-Clack Fridge Door Kit designed by whopping, a great one piece door makes for smooth and satisfying opening and closing (and clicking!) smoothly and close with nice sound.

This kit comes with a premium Cast Acrylic front panel and all the extrusions and hardware required (no printed parts).

Please note - because extrusions were anodized in a different batch than your LDO printer kit there might be a slight variation between color. This is true for all LDO Clicky-Clack Fridge Door Kits sold.

Inspired by Doc's fridge door mod and the EZBake Trident Doom conversion, I set out to design a hinge and latch system that could securely close an extrusion-framed door against 3mm foam tape, while also yielding some satisfying sounds.

This solution is what fit the bill for me. The door opens smoothly, and can be easily removed from the hinges simply by lifting up. The latch mechanism actually draws the door closed against the sealing foam when closed, and clicks shut with the help of some magnets. It makes nice sounds.

If you experience any door droop due to the weight of the door, a user has created a mod for it.
