Smooth and coated metals can present a difficult surface for UV ink to grip. Applying an adhesion promoter before printing helps prepare the substrate and significantly improves the mechanical bond between the cured ink and metal surface.
The eufyMake Metal Adhesion Promoter is ideal for producing customized metal signs, tumblers, nameplates, tags, business cards, panels, plaques, ornaments, promotional products, and other UV-printed metal items.
How to Use
- Clean the metal surface thoroughly to remove dust, grease, fingerprints, and other contamination.
- Put on appropriate protective gloves and a mask.
- Open one Metal Adhesion Promoter Prep Pad.
- Apply the solution evenly across the printing surface in a single direction.
- Allow the substrate to rest in a clean environment for approximately 10 minutes.
- Begin UV printing.

Important Compatibility Note
The Metal Adhesion Promoter is formulated exclusively for metal substrates. Do not substitute the Acrylic version or use this product on unrelated substrates. Using the wrong adhesion promoter can result in poor adhesion.
Different alloys, coatings, paints, and surface finishes can also react differently, so testing is recommended before beginning a production run.
Safety: Wear gloves while handling the prep pads, avoid direct contact with the solution, wear a mask to minimize inhalation of vapors, and dispose of used pads appropriately.
