The main thing this has going for it is that it's really easy to install. Aside from that, it really doesn't do the best job adding extra light to the printer, especially since you shouldn't connect both this and the stock light at the same time (both together exceed the rated power draw from the port, and is strongly not recommended).
I've since switched to a riser with a light strip controlled by a BLLED controller, which has provided much brighter and more even lighting.
