Easy mod that helps seal the front of the printer

Easy mod. You will need to remove the feet to get the hinges on. Recommend adding the bolts and nuts to the hinges and sliding them up from the bottom of the frame and top hat. Do the same for the latch mechanism. You will need your own hex or square 3mm nuts. Also print out alternate panel clips. Just look up mini fridge panel clips.

Makes using the V0 so much easier

I love my V0 but the biggest annoyance was always having to open the door and the top to undo the filament latch on the tool head to change filament. This solved that problem for me. Bought it on day one but it sat for half a year till I got around to modifying the panel clips to make it work right. Really wish I had done that way sooner.

Fun improvement over stock door!

Overall the hardware quality is solid and very well put together. The only real complaints come from some of the documentation not being clear (primarily around the alternative models you can print), and a tolerance issue with the tapped holes on the frame as another reviewer mentioned.

However, despite these issues, it is a great mod to install. The door is significantly more secure than the stock door assembly (which makes sealing the printer a lot easier), and it is a lot of fun to swing close the door and hear the latch click into place

Description

Mini-Fridge Door Kit designed by TheVoronModder and inspired by Whoppingpochard's Clicky-Clack doors for V2 and Trident. This is a great one piece door makes for smooth and satisfying opening and closing (and clicking!) with nice sound.

This kit comes with a premium Cast Acrylic front panel and all the extrusions and hardware required (no printed parts). Please note, this requires the 100mm extrusions standard on an LDO V0.2 Kit.

Please note - because extrusions were anodized in a different batch than your LDO printer kit there might be a slight variation between color. This is true for all LDO Mini-Fridge Door Kits sold.

The purchase of this item helps support the designer of this mod. Thank you for your contribution to this community.
