I am a huge fan of glass fiber reinforced filaments — purchased this in black, and it is the worst one I've used. It is extremely brittle, and however its been formulated leaves the surface finish extremely uneven and very difficult to post-process.
It's alright if you're printing large, simple, parts — like the sole reviewer with the photos did. Anything small, thin, or with complex meshes and it is an abject disaster. Circular patterns? Yikes.
And it warps and absorbs humidity in a manner that seems flabbergasting for something reinforced with glass fiber — I'm no plastics engineer, but its almost like instead of creating an actual resin with fibers to extrude into filament, they just threw some into their ASA and hoped for the best.
The surface finish has that cheap 'frosted' look to it — the kind you get from Tinmorry or Elegoo, for half the price. Incomparable to actual high-quality glass-fiber formulations (the blue/white in my photo are from Protopasta vs. the black from Phaetus.
Attempted on Diamondback 0.4mm and ObXidian 500 0.6mm HF nozzles — fully calibrated like everything else I use. It's a $10-15/kg filament, not a $30/kg one.
