As with any silicone sock they'll wear down over time and these are especially important on Revo as it allows you to properly grip the nozzle when swapping them, if it's loose it's going to be difficult to unscrew

its worth having spares

eventually they wear and break. its good to have some spares

Snap fit

Broke one with a printer blob, thankfully these socks just pop on.
