Great kit! Upgraded my formbot kit with close to 6k hours, it was fine but I broke a B mount on my 2.4 and had to take it down away so I went with something a little nicer. It's all great quality!
I have 4 of these on standby. Learned my leason when I they were sold out and I got a massive ppa cf clog that ruined my first one & my heartbreak lol. What can I say? They work, and I'm not waiting god knows how long for Aliexpress to get them here.
What a great little printer kit. My friend built it for me all in Ambrosia ASA filaments! I love my custom perinter!
The kit is doing what is supposed to do BUT at the time I build my Turtle Box no documentation is available. I got support from the community (high level build diagram). Still if you use the suggested mirrored installation you will need to revert the motor by adding “-“ into Klipper config (this critical info is missing). Also I noted a lot of static electricity (crash the system) resolved by putting the automatic filament chargers (motors) to earth (I did not have this issue with the original automatic filament chargers).
Can't say enough about West's Products. Everything I buy is solid and works. Just doesn't get any better than that..
I'm building a Stealthchanger and realized my other Vorons deserve a TOPHAT too! It's a fantastic kit like everything that LDO makes.
Overall, I’d say the Qidi Max 4 is decent. It prints pretty well, especially for a larger-format printer, but it’s not on the same level as my Bambu. The print quality is better than average, but the Bambu still gives cleaner results with less messing around.
Out of the box, the Max 4 felt slower than it should have been. Adjusting the stock acceleration settings helped a lot, but even after that, it still feels too slow for the price. It’s usable, but I wouldn’t call it fast.
The build size is definitely one of the big positives. If you need the larger print volume, that’s where this printer starts to make more sense. The enclosed design is also nice, especially if you’re printing ABS, ASA, or other materials that need a warmer chamber.
One thing I really don’t like is the Qidi Box. It is loud. Not just fan-noise loud, but a clicking, roller-coaster-on-the-track kind of loud. It’s annoying enough that I think it’s worth mentioning.
I also don’t think this printer is a smoking deal for the price. It’s not bad, and I don’t regret buying it, but it doesn’t feel like some amazing value either. It’s a decent large-format enclosed printer that prints better than a lot of average printers, but it still has some rough edges.
Pros:
Large build volume
Prints pretty good overall
Better than average print quality
Enclosed design is useful for ABS/ASA
Acceleration settings can be adjusted to improve speed
Cons:
Slower than I expected
Still not as clean or refined as a Bambu
Qidi Box is very loud
Doesn’t feel like an amazing deal for the price
Needs some tweaking to get it where it should be
Bottom line:
It’s a decent printer. I’d recommend it if someone specifically needs a large enclosed printer, but I wouldn’t tell someone it’s the best deal out there or that it competes directly with Bambu in overall polish.
Great set of drivers. Not only prefect for 3d printers but have found a number times when they were exactly what I needed to work on power tools in my woodworking shop

Mostly complete was missing the button head screws
This was a great kit that made building the print-bed easy. I would recommend buying this kit with the Kirigami bed-frame since it has Wago connectors that help with wiring. Also, this kit comes with the magnet sticker to put on the top of the heat-bed. I did not initially know that the magnet came with the kit.
Bought this kit and it made the build process a breeze. It is nice to buy this and have all the fasteners I need for the project.
Plenty of extras are also provided which is helpful for the occasional stripped ****.
Also, my kit initially arrived without the Makerbeam XL Nuts. I reached out to West3D's support team and they quickly sent me the missing parts at no additional cost. Great company, great kit.
Hot end cooling fan went down, order a new one plus a backup and arrived in a handful of days. Machines back up and running!
The product is excellent so far, it works well, everything fits perfectly. It's worth buying.
