I want to begin by thanking you and our amazing community, as well as the trust and support you give to us year after year. We’ve passed 4 years in business, and the passion and drive that got us started sustains us today. We are blessed being able to engage with people who share our love for 3D printing on a daily basis. You share your insights as far as products we should carry and your projects inspire us to keep creating, bring cool stuff to the store, and be better. I can’t say this enough, THANK YOU, a thousand times, THANK YOU.
I started West3D with almost no expectation of success, I had really hoped it would help fund the Voron 2.4 that I wanted to build (back then, buying one wasn’t that easy). I was in my garage, and funded the business largely on credit cards (do not advise). I went to the BOM and bought about 10 of everything, hoping it would fund my project. Somehow stars aligned and you and thousands of people who share our passion have chosen of their own free will to go to West3D for their printers, consumables and parts. It’s unreal.
2025 was another year of growth and expansion at West3D, we doubled the size of our in-personal retail space, and busted down a wall to add another 1940sqft to our warehouse (which we have quickly filled). We are now at just under 6,000 Sqft.
Our we added TikTok, X, BlueSky and other social content with a greater propensity this year to add to our YouTube channel (over 5k subscribers!). Our Discord server steadily grew (~2500 members as of today). We did Meet the Maker with a lot of great people in the community, went to and promoted all the US RepRap festivals, and donated more than $30,000 to the community.
Company outlook:
2025 was another growth year for us at West3D, fueled by a growing recognition as a destination for 3D printing parts in the community as well as our new retail presence. 2025 (so far) saw total sales increase by more than 40% and order volume grow by more than 30%! These numbers are huge for us, and opens up the door for future growth and expansion in 2026!
Growth was dominated in large part by the growing Ambrosia Filament brand that we distribute and sales of LDO Products - particularly popular modifications and upgrades.
We expect to continue to see some growth as our new products, filament, and product lines gain more traction, we are still cautiously optimistic we can see similar growth in 2026. Like most industries we are still seeing costs increase which can trickle down to customers, and at some point people need to choose where to spend their money. We are confident that at least within the 3D Printing space, we will continue to grow market share and be a preferred destination.
Thank you again for the trust and support. This community has changed my life, you support us, our location, and our staff - all of whom love 3D printing as much as I do.
Best wishes this holiday season,
Daniel McKay
