The successful applicant is sociable, naturally curious, loves tinkering, researching 3D printing products and trends, and talking about 3D Printing.
Company intro:
West3D believes in community, and that by working with our community we can sustainably promote 3D Printing to the next generation of makers that will take this industry to new heights. West3D supports the community through direct engagement with hobbyists and makers, and by sourcing and supplying quality 3D Printer supplies at reasonable prices. To further support the community, West3D routinely donates portions of its sales to support 3D printing projects and events. West3D has its roots in Voron 3D printers, though serves and supports other 3D printers and hobbies (e.g. CNC).
West3D started in August 2021, with its “doors” opening in October. It has quickly grown from a small garage hobby to a full-fledged operation. West3D currently has 6 staff in 3 states (4 are in Oregon), there are three full-time (one part-time) staff at it’s Beaverton, OR headquarters that manage day-to-day operations and two remote staff who manage customer service.
In October 2023 Ambrosia Filament was launched, while this brand is intended to be separate from West3D, the growth in the filament business because of our relationship has grown significantly.
In 2024 West3D moved to a new headquarters, which allows for a small retail showroom – this is a new focus for the company as its sales are currently almost all online. In the near future, we will offer 7-day in person store hours and aim to be the community’s main source for 3D printing products.
