Ordered one to see how it worked. Saw and heard lots of good things about it. First print I did, the first layer texture was smooth as glass, and I love it. Can’t wait to see how it holds up against the test of time.

great build plate and surface finish

I really like these plates so far. ordering another for sure.

A keeper

Works well for ASA/ABS, PETG, TPU so far. Haven't changed any bed temps, but I do always let the chamber come up to temp.

I hit the surface with some sandpaper to provide slightly better adhesion for ASA, which allows printing without brims.

By popular demand, West3D designed and specified its newest series of FR4 build surfaces. These use .5mm thick FR4 adhered to a flex plate that is more than 60% thicker than the industry standard. The result is a highly wear resistant, material versatile, long lasting plate that looks great.

These are single sided with the back side blank. This will increase the hold over standard double sided plates.

We generally oversize these by 5mm (eg. you'll note for a 250 plate we spec 255) this is for convenience so you don't lose build space when not perfectly aligning plate during application/removal)
