When it says super stick it’s 100% correct! Yes, you still need to used some steel wool and scuff the surface but compared to a few other plates i’ve used (i’ve tested quite a few) this one i keep coming back too for reliability and a clean smooth surface.

Now, I will say this test your z distance before assume all is good! Start with an off sets and do a first layer check! I ruined one of these bad boys by getting the nozzle to close and the print stuck.. well too good. I had pulled some of the pei up with the print. Lesson learned and was able to sand the sheet down to “renew” it but still has its damage. Second one I have works beautifully! So, just remember check your z distance and don’t blame them if you damage you pei sheet for your mistake :)

This sheet is designed specifically to stick really well to filaments like Polycarbonate that like to warp. This is a first batch plate, please let us know via messaging your thoughts.


The material used provides a glass like smooth finish (similar to PEI) on the smooth side, the back side is our textured PEI for use with other filaments (such as ABS, PLA etc.). Please note, you may need a separation layer on the smooth side- as this plate is sticky.

Our flex steel sheets are .5mm thick without the PEI coating, and approximately 1mm thick with both PEI sides. 

Disclaimer: The smooth side has a protective film to prevent damage during shipment. Please remove this film before use.
