Great Mod!

I bought this to help keep the heat in the chamber better. My side and top panels are sealed well but the doors with the gaps just didn't perform super well. This mod keeps the heat in better. It is also removable for when you want to print material that doesn't require a heated chamber(PLA, TPU, etc).

Much better seal

This seals much better than the stock v2 door, also has a really satisfying click.

Clicky Clack Fridge Door Kit - Essential for Vorons!

I just got the Clicky Clack Fridge Door Kit from LDO Motors...
It's great! And not just in comparison to the flimsy, leaky, yet sticky standard Voron 2.4 doors... This is the door to beat any 3D printer door that I have ever seen. When shut, no ABS fumes are noticeable even right next to the printer

The kit I received had all of the necessary hardware, including all of the bolts, the magnets, the extrusion nuts, the pins and bushings, in addition to the extrusions, weatherstrips and the very clear acrylic panel. Everything except for the printed parts, of course.

The LDO extrusions are the best I've seen, and are giving me reason to consider ordering an LDO Frame Kit.

The only minor quibble I can come up with: Although the LDO kit includes rubber weatherstrip for the acrylic panel, it can still rattle a bit so a little felt tape in a few places quiets it down completely.

If you run a closed Voron at high chamber temperature, you need this door!

Clicky-Clack Fridge Door Kit designed by whopping, a great one piece door makes for smooth and satisfying opening and closing (and clicking!) smoothly and close with nice sound.

This kit comes with a premium Cast Acrylic front panel and all the extrusions and hardware required (no printed parts).

Please note - because extrusions were anodized in a different batch than your LDO printer kit there might be a slight variation between color. This is true for all LDO Clicky-Clack Fridge Door Kits sold.

The purchase of this item helps support the designer of this mod. Thank you for your contribution to this community.

From GitHub
Inspired by Doc's fridge door mod and the EZBake Trident Doom conversion, I set out to design a hinge and latch system that could securely close an extrusion-framed door against 3mm foam tape, while also yielding some satisfying sounds.

This solution is what fit the bill for me. The door opens smoothly, and can be easily removed from the hinges simply by lifting up. The latch mechanism actually draws the door closed against the sealing foam when closed, and clicks shut with the help of some magnets. It makes nice sounds.

If you experience any door droop due to the weight of the door, a user has created a mod for it.
