Needed for abrasives

I use the Revo system on a few printers and finally needed a nozzle for abrasives, so it was a no brainer to get the obXidian nozzle. Prints have turned out great and the E3DLC coating has made a difference, especially when printing with PETG. I did have an issue with the first nozzle I received, a manufacturing defect, but the folks at West3D were able to get it sorted out.

ObXidian 

With a wear resistance that is orders of magnitude higher than any other E3D nozzle, ObXidian is really hard. Several orders of magnitude harder than Nozzle X and any other generic hardened steel nozzle. 

This is achieved by pairing a tool steel insert with our new E3DLC coating. This specially formulated coating also embeds non-stick properties into the Nozzle itself. Meaning considerably less plastic build-up around the Nozzle.

Please note:

- Revo™ Nozzles are not compatible with V6-style heaterblocks

- You may need to adjust your Z offset when changing nozzles.

- Special care must be taken when using 0.15mm nozzles as these are more prone to jamming please see E3D's recommended guidelines here
