Key Benefits of 1.5GT vs 2GT for 3D Printing
The main advantage of the 1.5GT profile is its smaller pitch. The pitch is the distance between the center of one tooth and the center of the next. For 1.5GT, the pitch is 1.5mm, while for 2GT it's 2mm. This smaller pitch means there are more teeth per given length of belt. 27 teeth total on idlers and pulleys.
