Description
The QIDI Plus5 3D Printer brings large-format printing, serious engineering-material capability, and modern automation together in a surprisingly compact CoreXY machine. With a 320 × 320 × 300 mm build volume, 370°C high-temperature hotend, 120°C heated bed, and a 65°C actively heated chamber, the Plus5 is built for everything from everyday PLA and PETG to demanding materials like ABS, ASA, PC, PA, and carbon fiber reinforced filaments.
Whether you're printing functional prototypes, production parts, large models, or just want more room to work without moving to a massive printer, the Plus5 offers significantly more usable build volume while keeping a relatively compact footprint.
Built for Engineering Materials
The Plus5 isn't just an enclosed printer—it features QIDI's 3rd-generation independent active chamber heating system, capable of maintaining chamber temperatures up to 65°C. That controlled environment helps reduce warping, improve dimensional stability, and promote stronger layer adhesion when printing materials such as ABS, ASA, nylon, polycarbonate, and fiber-reinforced composites.
Paired with a 370°C hotend, hardened-steel extruder gears, and a wear-resistant bimetal nozzle, the Plus5 is ready to go well beyond basic hobby materials.
Large 320 × 320 × 300 mm Build Volume
More room means fewer compromises. The Plus5 provides an expansive 320 × 320 × 300 mm print area, giving you space for large functional parts, cosplay pieces, prototypes, printer components, or bigger production batches without splitting models into multiple pieces.
Despite the increased capacity, QIDI has kept the overall machine footprint to approximately 500 × 488 × 558 mm, making it easier to fit into a workshop, print farm, office, or home setup.
Fast, Rigid CoreXY Motion System
The Plus5 uses a CoreXY motion system with a high-hardness X-axis linear guide rail and wide 9 mm 1.5GT belts designed for accurate movement at high speeds.
Toolhead speeds reach up to 600 mm/s with acceleration up to 20,000 mm/s², while the lightweight toolhead and rigid motion system help maintain clean surfaces and consistent print quality.
Automatic Leveling and Smart Monitoring
QIDI's load-cell based automatic bed leveling system measures the build surface using the nozzle itself, reducing manual setup and helping deliver consistent first layers.
The Plus5 also includes:
- Automatic bed leveling
- Built-in 1080p camera
- AI print monitoring and detection
- Filament runout detection
- Power-loss recovery
- Input shaping
- Smart object skipping
- RGB printer status lighting
- Timelapse recording
- 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi
- Ethernet and USB connectivity
That means less time babysitting the printer and more time actually printing.
Ready for QIDI BOX Multi-Color Printing
The QIDI Plus5 is compatible with the QIDI BOX multi-material system, allowing automatic filament switching and multi-color printing.
Multiple QIDI BOX units can be combined to support up to 16 materials or colors, opening the door to colorful models, automatic spool switching, and advanced applications using dedicated support materials.
The QIDI BOX is sold separately unless specifically included as part of a bundle.
Integrated 3-Stage Air Filtration
For enclosed-material printing, QIDI equips the Plus5 with an integrated three-stage filtration system consisting of:
- G3 pre-filter
- H12 HEPA filter
- Coconut-shell activated carbon filter
It's a welcome addition for a machine designed to spend plenty of time printing materials like ABS and ASA.

Big Prints. Hot Materials. Less Fuss.
The QIDI Plus5 hits a useful middle ground: large enough for serious projects, hot enough for engineering-grade materials, and automated enough that you don't need to turn every print into a science project.
If you're looking for a large-format enclosed CoreXY printer for ABS, ASA, nylon, PC, carbon fiber composites, prototypes, functional parts, or everyday printing, the QIDI Plus5 brings a lot of capability to the table without requiring an industrial-sized machine.
