Description

Orders starting November 13 2025 are BATCH 3 - we expect these to arrive early January 2026.

We’ve got some exciting news! Batch 2 of our dryer is getting a new mold, which will feature annealing tray compatibility! Expected to arrive early December 2025. This is about 3 weeks later than we originally planned.

Tired of driers that can barely tackle PLA? 55-70 degree single spool driers are the norm, and if you venture out to other filament types you're kind of out of luck.

We set out to change that and really leaned into the toaster idea, even using the shell of a real toaster! Our high temperature filament drier can reach temperatures up to 120C (adjustable) in under 3 minutes and sustain that temperature (the max time is 24 hours). The West3D Filament Toaster has space for 4 1KG filament spools, with rollers and outlets for each spool so you can dry while you're printing. The side fan works to circulate air, and the internal light allows you to easily see your filament even in the dark. Oh, and this thing is quiet.

This product operates at 120VAC

Please check your filament spool (and its adhesive) before using this drier at high temperatures. ABS, 3D printed PLA/PETG spools etc. typically cannot withstand temperatures above their softening point. Cardboard spools while typically able to withstand the temperature often need some sort of clamp or the adhesive will separate. Metal and Polycarbonate spools provide the best results when drying temperature filaments. Standard filament spools that are plastic may melt even at lower temperatures. Most engineering filaments will use higher temperature plastics and are OK.
