Picked up the LDO Voron 2.4 kit from West3D and loved it. The parts are high quality, the instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the whole build was a really fun experience. Solid kit all around and totally worth it.
I bought 5 of these previously, great kit. Bought 5 more and for some reason the hardware was very different and wrong, no 16mm long screws needed for one part of the assembly. Received one 70mm axle which is too short (needs 80 or 100).
As part of my 4 toolchanger i ordered 2 similar fan from honeybadger earlier. Next i ordered 2 of this to tryout. On my new toolhead it started spinning properly for only 2 first layer patch prints. Then it started making noise and frequently switched between start and stop for few minutes. And now completely stopped working. Another fan not yet ready to test. Totally disappointed with the quality. It clogged my new hotend
I had an issue with a printed-parts order that appeared to get lost in the USPS void. West3D responded quickly, took ownership of the problem, and immediately sent out replacement parts without any hassle. Communication was clear, timely, and genuinely customer-focused throughout the entire process.
The replacement parts arrived exactly as promised, and they even offered an easy path to return duplicates if the original shipment ever showed up. That level of proactive support is rare these days.
Solid products, excellent communication, and customer service done right. I'll absolutely continue ordering form West3D.
I struggled with ASA lifting even with very wide brims, adhesive, and max bed temp. I heard about the glacier cool plate and came to West3D to buy it. I stumbled upon this one, but ended up ordering both this one and the other. I've only used the West3d x KDEAVI one, as it solved all my issues with plate adhesion for ASA. I even run it at the lowest recommended temp- 80 and still don't have issues. Great product.
The noise these generate is really bad, even with stealthchop enabled. Wasn't able to ever get a config going that was as quiet as advertised. Ended up swapping out for 2240's.
This is the best nozzle for the K2P that I have tried. Heating up to 350c is huge. Also, West3d is great to work with. They are great folks who are always happy to help.
I had a small accident with my QP4 and this nozzle plugged straight in and worked perfectly!
To be honest, I havent yet finished building this after I ran into a problem with my Voron. However, it is almost finished and was a pleasure to build. The instructions are amazing.
West 3D have been an excellent company to work with. There was a bit of confusion over tax as I was charged tax when I ordered but the courier then sent me a second bill for tax. This was rapidly sorted because when I raised the with West3D they immediately paid the tax I had paid them.
Moves a lot of air and the tachometer is nice for my peace of mind. If you're using an EBB toolhead board you need a diode for it to work, so keep that in mind.
Not a full "kit" Does not come with 3mm nuts! The Github BOM does not list them either. Lucky I had plenty or I'd be PO! The linked video just happens to FFW over the assembly where the nuts are used, how fortunate. I heard the modder mention on another video that LDO did not supply nuts on the 2.4 door either, so did they just decide to remain consistent and not include them on the zero? Did the modder modify the BOM to match LDO's missing nutz? Hmmm....
Great job on the 3d printing on this tool. Very smooth and functional. I was able to match belt tension on all belts in just a few moments instead of the sound tuner apps where so many variables can mess up the tuning.
I tried printed cutters, but none of them held up as well as this. I had to make a custom mount for it to work with Orbiter extruder, the ones available online did not allow the blade to fully close.
It just works, when you get the right revo. Read requirements.
Been using this system for a while now, it's super convenient. It's great to keep dry spools dry and maintain their dryness, but I don't recommend it for the actual drying out of damp filament. For that, I'd recommend something more aggressive.
My order had a definite theme, and what was in the box, followed that theme, so I got something pleasantly adventurous, but manageable.
The price/value was good and in line with the good sale happening at that time. Mostly I'd recommend witfb for a change of pace or inspiration.
